Michelle began her nursing career in 1980, working on the inpatient Behavorial Health Unit at Chelsea Community Hospital. In June 2007, she began caring for those needing end-of-life care at the Hospice of Jackson - Hospice Home. Michelle's interest in alternative ways to heal oneself led her in 1996 to study yoga with Dorothy Ann Coyne. Michelle discovered an affinity for teaching yoga and, in 1999, became a Certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher. Michelle currently teaches yoga at the Grass Lake Medical Center and at the Jackson Country Club. A Certified Holistic Nurse, she is an active member of the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA), and also of the Kripalu Yoga Teacher's Association (KYTA).
